Latest update from Valve
: Steam Machine updates: Reservations, waitlists, and more
Purchase emails go out daily, in the order set by the randomization. Valve expects everyone in the reservation queue to get the option to buy by the end of 2026. Queues and waitlists are per product and per region, so some regions have already started inviting people from the waitlist. People coming off the waitlist first get a message saying they are in the reservation queue, then a purchase email later.
What the buttons mean
- Buy: Steam has units and you can order now.
- Reserve: you can join the reservation queue. Steam emails you when you can order.
- Join waitlist: the reservation queue is full, so you join the waitlist behind it.
- Unavailable: Steam sells it in that country but shows no way to order or reserve right now.
